Scosche IDR600 Review by Joseph Cerulli (Florida, USA)

I purchased this pair of earphones as a replacement for my old Apple in-ear's less than two months ago. I wasn't expecting the sound quality to be as expansive as it is, but I've been thoroughly impressed with them since the day I received them. Unfortunately, I come writing this review to warn future potential buyers about a possible issue with the longevity of the cord. I don't use these headphones often--mostly when I lay in bed or during the slower hours of my job--but they've frayed irreparably at the base of the audio jack. I'm sure it's only a matter of a few more uses before the actual wires get damaged, which will render these useless.

I love the earphones. The quality is absolutely on-par with the more expensive sets (that I've owned--thanks, Apple) and extremely comfortable with the availability of six different size plugs. Unfortunately, build quality is just not on the same level as the rest of its feature set.

Scosche IDR600 Review by jacob "Amps" (michigan, USA)

I have so many ear buds it's pathetic. I am really happy with the sound of these. The most important part to me though is I don't have to get them perfectly in some sweet spot to sound good. I can also wear them to bed and they don't lose sound like some of my other ones on the side that is against the pillow. I really like the bass. I listen to some old school bass music and the sound couldn't be better.

Scosche IDR600 Review by Amazon.com buyer "Amazon.com buyer" (CA United States)

I am now a true fan of this product and name brand. They are the best earphones I've ever owned. I will definitely purchase more of this brand name. My biggest satisfaction is the fact the the bass is absolutely amazing thanks for the great selection of different size ear inserts!! I like to "feel" my music, not just listen to them. No other brands out there can compete with this one. The sound quality is just amazing!!! LOVE IT !!! I highly recommend these.

Pyle PL463BL Review by N. Basha "StockAim" (hah)

Dont make the same mistake that i did.

I bought em because of all the reviews that i read here.
They arent good. Im am not a electronics genius, especially when it comes to speakers.

But if you like the zzzzzzz in the background
and when you rise the volume when your favorite song comes up then bz bz bz bz bz

Just, dont do it.

Pyle PL463BL Review by Kenneth

Purchased these speakers and at first sound was great. Now a few weeks later the sound is very poor. Sounds like the speaker is broken

Pyle PL463BL Review by Mal

The speakers are great, sadly the engine blew in the car I had meant them for so I can't use them

Pyle’s Blue Label series speakers don’t just sound great – they look great, too. Feast your eyes upon the azure curves of Pyle’s Blue Label series and you’ll agree. They’re great replacements for your vehicle’s factory speakers – you’ll hear the difference immediately. The non-fatiguing butyl rubber surround keeps your speakers secure as well as extending the life of the product. A 1” high-temperature ASV voice coil provides the richest sound, ensuring low distortion and providing an open sound stage. The blue poly injection cone looks great and allows your music to resonate with full power. The 20 oz. magnet structure, 1” neodymium film dome midrange, and ¾” piezo tweeter are what power these speakers and allow for a 95 Hz – 20 kHz frequency response. Includes grills, wires, and mounting hardware. Trust Pyle to provide quality sound at a competitive price.

Dual LU43PB Review by Anthony R.

I have these hooked up to my 2008 Polaris RZR, they work great and fairly loud speakers, good product for the money, they got rained on the other day and didnt effect them at all, still work great the next day.

Dual LU43PB Review by winter

These things are perfect for my patio which is around 50'x14'. The sound they put out is good quality. Due to the mounting setup they can be mounted at a high angle to the surface to which they are attached (happened to be a big deal in my setup). The bass sounds great but too loud so that the neighbors call the cops every time I have a party. Holding up well int he weather so far, 3 months in.

Dual LU43PB Review by Erik A. Berger

I bought a pair of these as outdoor deck/ambiance speakers as temporaries while I decide on a higher end next season, and after hearing them, I really don't think I'll even be bothering with looking next year. these sound really great for the price.

Construction: the body is plastic, as are most of the thumb screws that attach the brackets to the speakers, but the plastic feels sturdy and thick enough not to tone the sound too much, the bracket is stamped, hardened steel, painted to match. the speakers have small amounts of vibration damping material where they meet the brackets, which is nice if for nothing else to keep the speakers exactly where you set them.

Drivers:
woofer: appears to be 4.25", foam surround and plastic composite cone
mid: plastic cone, plastic surround.
tweeter: plastic dome tweeter

not high end stuff, but feels and looks like it'll last at least a few years.

aesthetics: they look just fine, they're pretty small at 5.5" wide but that's again not a bad thing inherently. the 'dual' logo does rotate to accommodate any orientation you choose, but its hardly visible from 5 feet and almost looks like a 'JBL' logo (observation, not really relevant).

Sound: before I start critiquing these, I want to say that I'll be comparing these to a vastly different Klipsch set I have in my garage, and I was not at all expecting these to sound good.

At low volumes, these are very well balanced and even have a little bit of their own presence. when I researched these, I noticed the frequency response wasn't impressive at all, but I am very impressed with the low range response for a 4.25" woofer. the highs are a bit shrill which is jut the nature of this type of tweeter. the sound doesn't give me a headache, and can be somewhat cured with a treble adjustment. the mid-range of the speaker is really only apparent in low volumes... which if we're honest, is where 99% of these speakers sold will ever be used.

at high volumes (and here is where I was surprised) they don't want to distort, and they don't feel uncomfortable. the bass keeps on par with the highs, and the mids are a bit lacking.

Durability:
I burned in two sets of these (one new, one Amazon.com warehouse deals 'used') for 50 hours with a 100W RMS amp at something like 20W@8ohms

they didn't really loosen up much (because the surrounds aren't Butyl rubber and the driver material is lower end) but I am confident after that that I will never blow these speakers, and the only way they'll ever die is one of two ways: if an animal eats through the grill and ruins the foam surround, or if the foam surround just breaks down with use and weather elements (in Minnesota winters, etc).

Other Thoughts:
the grills aren't meant to be removed, but they look exactly as pictured on here with the grilles off (which is pretty nice, actually)
they feel higher quality than $10-15/speaker.
they sound WAY better than $10-15/speaker.

I say well done, Dual.
a company that used to make complete crap has maybe stepped out of it's awkward teens and into maturity.

Pinzon AM51-047 Consumer Report

Pinzon AM51-047 Review by Indy Granny

Really love this blanket. I bought a throw by Pinzon last winter and really liked it, so bought the blanket. This blanket does not pill or get fuzzies like many of them do. Of course, I washed it before using and had some lint in the lint trap, but nothing extreme. Its is very light weight so it doesn't feel heavy on your legs or feet, yet it is so warm and soft. Just really love it. Only thing is I wish they had more colors. I would like softer colors, maybe rose or blue.

About two weeks later....
Still really like the blanket; its warm, soft and light weight, but when I changed my sheets there were some fuzzies and shedding on my sheets and some fuzzies on the blanket itself. I am hoping it doesn't become worse with time. So far, it still isn't nearly as bad as some.

Pinzon AM51-047 Review by Bob

It's a fuzzy, comfy, decent lightweight blanket but it sheads fibers badly. In five to seven years, it may be all sheaded out- LOL

Pinzon AM51-047 Review by b52 (Lakewood, OH United States)

I chose to believe the reviews of people who said this did not pill. It pills! Big time.

When it arrived, I was happy with the color and the softness. Then I washed it -- in cold water, on delicate setting, at low heat -- and it came out of the dryer full of pills. It barely rubbed against my bedspread and left dozens of little fuzzies.

This is now an expensive dog blanket for use in the old car. I'm even a little hesitant about using it there; we'll see if that was a mistake. At least my dog is black so the navy blue pills won't stand out.

I am very disappointed in this purchase. I would not recommend it to anyone.

8 Foot Deluxe Beach Umbrella Combo Set - Includes Easy Go Storage Bag - UPF 50+ Sun Protection! Report

8 Foot Deluxe Beach Umbrella Combo Set - Includes Easy Go Storage Bag - UPF 50+ Sun Protection! Review by Mark K

My 3rd summer useing it.
Live in the Philadelphia area, get to the Jersey shore for 1 week a year along with 4 or 5 day trips.
That's so you know how much useage it has.
Right off the bat the umbrella would blow inside out.
Durning my 3rd summer week at the beach the hinges on the fiberglass ribs have started to rust away.
Two ribs down still going to try to use it for a day trip next weekend.
Oh the storage bag is ripped totaly apart, now I use a bungie cord around it.

8 Foot Deluxe Beach Umbrella Combo Set - Includes Easy Go Storage Bag - UPF 50+ Sun Protection! Review by Curly's dad

The umbrella I purchased so far has been all it was cracked up to be. It works great in beach sand. No need for some beach sand stand. It tilts easily to block the sun. It stands up well to the wind. It looks great & is relatively easy to set up. However, I cant say the same about the carrying bag. The second time I used it, the carrying strap separated from the bag itself. I noticed that the strap was coming off the bag on both ends of the strap. Also the seam on the open end where you insert the umbrella was coming apart. Fortunately my wife was able to sew it back together (better than new). I guess this is what we get for buying EVERYTHING from China. More crap! When will we learn? Can't we make anything here?

8 Foot Deluxe Beach Umbrella Combo Set - Includes Easy Go Storage Bag - UPF 50+ Sun Protection! Review by Warren Redlich (Albany, NY USA)

We've only used it once so far but it was exactly what we wanted and met our expectations. It was easy to carry from the car to the beach - both lightweight and comes with a convenient carry bag. It has a "screw" tip so you can get it into the sand in a stable position. It was also easy to open and close.

elvenridge at elfWorksLane ELF002 Review by D. Harper "rdbdj556" (Norman, OK United States)

I bought this bell and while it's an ok bell it's not what I was looking for. I wanted a replica of the polar express bell. So after the arrival of this bell, I went back online and searched and found [...] their Santa's Classic Gift Set is a replica of the polar express bell and their website even has an audio clip of the bell (I really appreciated that feature). The magicalbells replica is a few dollars more but I think well worth it if what you are searching for is a true replica of the first gift of christmas from the polar express.

elvenridge at elfWorksLane ELF002 Review by Susan Brearley (Poughkeepsie, NY)

"Happy New Year! Just thought I would tell you that BY FAR the bell is my son's favorite gift that Santa brought to him. (He is 6 1/2) He has shown everyone he knows and explains why it's so special... it's from the sleigh.... look at the engraving... look how it's worn... look at the leather & the box! We are so happy and want to thank you for your help! He has a friend who has the Hallmark version and even she was in awe at the -real- bell. Thanks again & happy new year to you and yours. "

"I know I left feedback but I wanted to share something with you. I ordered this bell for my 9 year old grandson because he asked Santa for a reindeer bell for Christmas, thanks to you it got here in time to Canada and it was the biggest hit for him. I read him the Polar Express on Christmas Eve and he said he asked Santa for a bell and wondered if it was silver or gold. Well Christmas morning he has so excited to get his SILVER bell. When asked even a week later what was the best Christmas present he got it is always 'the bell' over games, MP3 player, snowboard, everything! Thank you for making his Christmas so special, we can all believe!"

"Thank you, bell arrived today and I am very pleased with it ... probably the best packaging I have seen. "

"Received bell today. Absolutely perfect!! Thank you!!!"

"My children loved the bells! They even made a believer out of me! Thanks!!!"

"My son is still on air over this bell. Thank you for making such a special gift."

"My little boy LOVED it! He carried it around for days! Thank you!!!"

"My daughter loved receiving this. She even claims it smells of 'reindeer'."

"Truly the spirit of Christmas...both kids favorite gift. A+++++++"

"WOW - incredible bell...... kids best present....."

"My daughter (age 6) truly believes this is a bell from Santa's sleigh. Thanks!"

"This was the BEST Christmas gift I ever GAVE - Awesome Service - Quality is A+"

" I am the grandmother of the 9 year old boy that got his bell from you last Christmas and I thought I would give you a little update.....he took his bell out last week and shook it and asked his Mom if she could hear it and she said yes and he said he heard it too!!!! The gift goes on and it is still very special to him, I thought you might like to know I am still thrilled and it meant so much!! It will always be something he will remember!"

"Brass Sleigh Bell: $34.99....The Magic of Believing: PRICELESS. Thank You!

elvenridge at elfWorksLane ELF002 Review by R. Arnold

Hard to describe the excitement in her eyes, 6 year old girl and the best gift of the year. She loves the check with guests on their ability to hear the bell to determine if they "believe".

Overall, high quality product with amazing similarity to the real bells from the North Pole, the packaging is amazing and needs nothing addition (save a green ribbon if you really want to go all out).

elvenridge at elfWorksLane ELF002:: Overview

This is a great bell, with leather strap, in a nice hand wrapped package, and a candy cane striped lid. The bell sits on a nest of 'reindeer snow'. This particular bell is an ACTUAL sleigh bell, gleams, has good weight, brass with nickel chrome plating, measuring 1 1/8 inch diameter. Kids young and old love these. There are no company logos or marks anywhere - so you and your loved one can be assured that these are authentically elf-made and not mass produced. These make a great gift for any Polar Express Train / movie lover, OR for anyone who you wish to deliver the "BELIEVE" message to!
