When looking for a mortising tool i found this set and it had everything to complete my door project.I would highly recommend this set for anyone who has doors to hang.

Just received the mortising kit today, and although I have not yet used it, the plastic mortising guides are very flimsy.
The kit is relatively inexpensive to buy, but is very cheaply constructed. I do think that if I am careful, it will likely last for the few mortises that I need to make.
The quality is much the same as a Harbor Freight tool!
Would I buy it for other than just occasional use?
No! ..... I would not!

This is one of the tools you MUST have if you are a Handyman or serious DIYer. Forget the utility knife and chisel. You can mortise a door in under 5 minutes. The video is good, but the product is better. Easy to set up and use. Couple with the Bosch Colt Router and it is a really good set. The Colt is light and has plenty of power to do the job. If I had to do doors for a living, I might consider one of the more expensive sets. This set is a good price point and value for me.
